TB-500 is a synthetic peptide corresponding to the active region of Thymosin β4, a naturally occurring actin-sequestering protein. In published in-vitro and preclinical literature it has been used as a research reagent to study actin-cytoskeleton dynamics, cell-migration assays, angiogenesis models, and endothelial and fibroblast behavior in wound-healing model systems.
